We had a kindergarten teacher who had that look. I thought she was scary. I remember very well that she asked if someone wanted a piece of candy and I didn't like that kind of candy. She looked at the kids, trying to make eye contact. I kept staring the other way. Pfew she didn't ask me if I wanted one with her scary eyes. Scary woman LOL.

My 10 year older sister did that once when she watched me, she told me. Can't remember it. I was 3 or so and she said: Go stand in the corner! Cause she didn't know what else to do and then I obediently kept standing in the corner and she said: Come out of the corner again LOL. My eldest son did that with his little brother when they played police and crook. I have a video from it. So funny. He was bossing him around and the crook obediently stands in the corner. Get out! And he gets out.

Never had to do this. Wouldn't have even if told to do so. I was not a co-operative kid at all.

It might be my imagination, but I think I remember that being done in elementary school. But I can't remember doing it myself.

you know what's funny? the only time i recall being made to stand in the corner was at school. at home i got screamed at and sent to my room.
