I know he has bad COPD and is on oxygen. He may be having a ‘low’ time with this. I know, because some days it just hurts to breath. Hope this is all that it is.

I called Ike today, he is ok, waiting for a couple of doctor appointments..He said Hi to all and thank you for your concerns..

I agree Ken, if he could use the computer he would be here. He sent me a private message in the beginning of this month saying that he's not in good shape, but we all knew that already with his COPD, heart problems, hospital visits, etc. He said he loves this forum and visits daily, but if he stops posting he's either in the hospital or has passed on.

I'm concerned about Ike too, he hasn't been here since March 29, I'm afraid his cancers, concussion or something else may have happened with him. I hope they're both okay and we hear from them when they are able to. Both of them have chosen not to receive any emails, only PMs that they would read on the forum. Both are nice folks, missing them.

Ken, just read your update on Ike, thank you for letting us know.

Has anyone ever heard of the “Widowhood Effect?” Those that track this morbid statistic swear by it. For me, being a cop, I’m not convinced.

I have noticed that Jim is well liked by many posters here, so let’s hope that all is well.
