I watched it @RambleTamble on Hulu earlier...thank you for posting it.
Why the cake?...I think because CBS sent the cake to Colbert...and why not...the cake looked like an unused wedding cake.
Just to watch it smash on the sidewalk.

Ah, I didn't know that CBS sent the cake to Colbert. In that case, throwing it off the roof was perfect!I watched it @RambleTamble on Hulu earlier...thank you for posting it.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was the number one late-night talk show in total viewers for nine consecutive seasons. I've never watched an entire show, but I regularly would watch the opening monologue on YouTube, and the things he said in opening monologue are what did him in. CBS said it was because he was paid too much, but we all know it was due to his politics.
