Still ride my ATV

Twenty-five years ago I bought an ATV to use around the farm. Now that we no longer live on our farm (we lease it out) I still have my ATV. It was and is a basic model not one of the hot rod version, in fact only two wheel drive and a 250 CC engine. I putter around with things in my shop, and over the years since I retired and moved to town I have fully restored the bike.

It has LED lights all around, turn signal and stop lights and a horn. I put new performance tires and rebuilt things like the carbeurator and brakes. The seat is recovered and I added rear view mirrors. In short it is actually better than when new. I'm now 77 and still enjoy taking a ride on it, wearing my helmet and never trying to push the limits. Just a good pleasant ride.

I have a friend who is of the gray hair clan who still rides her
customized, blinged yamaha motorcycle. she's won many
trophies for the work she has put on it's appearance. and her
hubby has a older harley dave that he still rides.

I still have the farmette and still have both 4-wheelers. Mine are used every day for farm work. I actually just got both of them back from having new carburetors, etc put on them. NOT cheap, but they should now outlast me.

i lovelovelove my old Honda Rancher. The Kawasaki Prairie is a bit finicky. Hard starting unless it’s 100° out. It’s got to be 20 below zero before the Honda starts giving me grief to start.

In his later years, The Admiral (RIP), my alpha barn kitty, would ride the 4-wheeler with me during morning chores. He was 14 when I laid him to rest; a long time for an outdoor kitty. Like so many others, he is in my Pet Sematary, spelling intended.
