Stop sending me forum emails!

The instructions in notification emails are actually very clear, as long as you read any of the emails, you won't miss the instructions: how to unsubscribe from one and all threads.

Besides that, we also used several other ways to inform members how to stop these emails:

1. This forum shows a very noticeable notice to members with 1~10 posts.

2. The first link in FAQ -> Most Frequently Asked Questions.

3. A sticky thread in "Forum support and suggestions."

When you sign on. Go to Settings>My Settings> My Account> General Settings. Turn off what you don't want.

Receive Email:
  • Receive Email from Administrators
  • Receive Friendship Request Email
From time to time, the administrators and/or other members may want to send you email notifications or messages. If you do not want to receive email from certain people then you may disable the options here


You can also turn off Private Messaging.

I don't think he ever signed off/logged off.

He also should go to edit profile and delete all the information
Remove avatar (picture)
Delete people from friends list.

Then, log off the site and stay away.
 
The only emails he's getting is from threads he has subscribed to and he selected to get email notifications of all new posts in those threads. If he follows Matrix's suggestions and links, he can easily unsubscribe from those notifications.

The link is in the email, unless you didn't get any but claim you did.

Since you don't care to read any links I posted, I have done that for you. You will not get any more emails from this board.
