Store stock better

The world needs more love
Braved the cold, okay hot, cruel world today and went to the grocery store.

I was pleased to find much of the shelves stocked, besides TP and sanitizer of any kind.
Breads, pasta, meats, veggies, snacks and wine all available.

No one bothered me, but then I was wearing the death skull mask and robe my wife made me. I think the scythe helped as well.

I find that store stocks are gradually improving as well. I actually was exuberant to exit my usual market with a pack of brand-name toilet paper, promoting inquiries of where I had found it. What strange times we are living in when toilet paper becomes the Holy Grail of store acquisitions!

I was very disappointed and had to go to two stores to get some of the stuff on my list, but not all.

I give up. And now I'm beginning to make recipes based upon what I find at the store on any particular day, rather than having a menu in mind and buying the foods it will require. Going forward, I think will be easier and I actually discovered a delicious potato leek soup recipe which I cooked yesterday and it was wonderful. Here's to flexibility and discovery.

My husband was out this morning and got a 4 pack of toilet paper from Dollar General. This is the first tp we've been able to find in the past month and we were getting low. Some Dollar Generals have kleenex in the dollar isle, while the paper goods area is stripped clean.
Lowe's has paper towels, but you have to buy a pack of 12. We've been giving some paper towels away to friends/relatives.

Sharing is caring.

I found a package of toilet paper a week and a half ago and bought it. They were stocking in a lot but I haven't seen any since. No paper napkins either. I haven't been able to buy paper napkins in a month or more.

After conducting a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle, the Beverly Hills Police Department found something unexpected... 192 rolls of toilet paper!!!

Ditto here - still trying to put together old family spaghetti recipe... Since neighbors are doing my shopping, I can't ask them to search every grocery store... hohum... it will be all the more satisfying if I have to delay gratification.
