Stores Recording You

When you go into a store, what is the difference in having a clerk watching you, or a camera?
It feels a bit different, as if some stranger that you cannot see, can/will see you. It also seems more permanent, but I dont know how long they keep those.
But I definitely see your point, and I agree. Not that much different from how it used to be, when someone would watch you. :geek:

Well, I don't care if there are cameras. I know my mall has cameras as when someone swiped my hoodie I left on the mall seating while I was doing my walk around the mall and I reported it to security and he said he would look to see if he could see someone pick it up. Never did hear from him.

I wouldn't want my picture displayed on every single tv and monitor when I walked into the store (like what happened to Em in Ohio). I would say something to the store.
Hi Iris. I definitely did say a few things! The excuse they gave was that they were just testing a new system. I think they could have tested on a volunteer staff person when the store was closed instead of testing on an unsuspecting shopper!

Actually that’s what that store had prior to installing these cameras. There were overhead cameras and one fellow viewing.
And the multitude of cameras eliminated another job opportunity /-;
