Wow, I've never seen hail that big! That's big enough to do some serious damage. Are your cars and house OK?

Spring is a nice time of year....Except for the storms. Hail of any size can really mess up a roof, or any cars parked outdoors. Several of the car dealerships are offering "hail damaged" cars at a reduced price...seems to happen every year around this time. We were up in Kansas City this past week, and drove through Oak Grove...a small town about 20 miles east of the city...where they had a tornado touch down about 2 weeks ago. There were tarps on virtually all the house roofs...at least those that were still standing...the news reported that 438 houses had sustained substantial damage....lucky no one got killed or badly injured.

We've got 'severe' weather that is supposed to be rolling in late this afternoon through tomorrow with a good possibility of tornados, large hail and high winds......not that I'm looking forward to having to use it but we do have a tornado shelter in the garage.
