Do you tolerate bullshitters? I mean the ones that have done it all,better cuter and smoother than you?
Worked with a guy that claimed to have gone to Germany and presided over the build of his Volkswagen. This guy started showing up to work on a fancy "custom " built recumbent bike. Riding in from his home 15 miles out. Co worker saw him unloading his bike at a mall a couple miles away from the shop.

I have met a thousand Sniper, Seals,Scouts, Rangers and Green Berets.

In a formal social setting I will normally tolerate it as not to create a scene. In a more casual intimate occasion I normally will shut it down before it gets started. Really pisses me off that you think I am stupid enough to believe your crap.
 

I LOATH Bull $hitters ! And have known a few in my lifetime.

I walk away from them as soon as I can. There are too many nice people in the world and I prefer to spend my time with them.
 
We've got a total bullshitter here at work. No matter the situation he has either had it happen to him or has friends or family that have. This guy is an expert on everything and inserts himself into whatever is going on at work even when it doesn't include him. He likes to watch over your shoulder and then throw his 2 cents in on what you're doing. I've told him a couple times to stay out of my business, the first time I was nice about it, the second time not so much. Everyone runs the other way when we see him coming. He's been here a little over a year and no one likes him. When he starts talking to me I start walking away before he finishes his first sentence, he keeps talking until I'm no longer in sight. One of the most annoying people I've ever met!
 
We had a guy that would refer to his service in the Armed Forces. Lots of stories. Had some Military stuff at home. Total bullshitter. Everyone wanted to kick the crap out of him.....he transferred out and low and behold got promoted.

I often wonder how I've stopped myself from doing this on quite a few occaisions.
 
Lying SOB's / Bullshitters are bad enough when they're talking about normal everyday things but when they start lying about their military service it really pi$$es me off.
 
I had a friend who did that all the time, and at first I believed him.
Difficult to prove he was lying but he probably was because he was bent on
impressing me with how smart and good he was with his work.--- I can top that--
My mother was the queen of that.
 
I knew one lady who bragged endlessly about her kids and their high power jobs in another city and that is why they never took the time to see her often.

Turned out the boy was in jail and the girl was working as a waitress. I feel sorry for these people that have a need to do this.
