Quick recap: a pickup truck crashed into our house 03/04/2024, making home of 34 years uninhabitable. Stayed with neighbor a month until my wife, myself and 4 dogs were permitted to live on property site in an Rv.
We had a colder than usual winter but we survived. Actual work did not begin on our house until January. After ground thawed a new foundation was built, next step is pour cement floor in cellar, next, reframe house and new roof and everything else.

Expected to reclaim home living space not until October. Springtime now becoming summer soon , air conditioner not working properly, plus wear and tear from living in the Rv, include the clicker knob that lights the stove, light bulbs, screen door latch, and then some.
it hasn’t been all bad, given our situation my wife and I closer than ever, and my appreciation towards her is greater than ever.

Mr. Ed, you & your wife are holding up remarkably well. I don't know how you're doing it.
I had a frozen pipe leak that caused $15,000 in damage. I just about strangled my contractor. It came to me calling the cops to have him removed from my property- and that was on a "good" day!!!
