Straight from the can...

I've done the beans from a can as well as veggies like corn or string beans & cranberry sauce. Chef Boyardee beef raviolis or spaghetti n meatballs from a can when I was livin the single life. I've eaten tuna from the can Used to drink beer from a can but haven't in a few years, bottles now.

In New England we have an old traditional brown bread that comes in a can, it's very tasty. This was a family staple on Friday nights with hot dogs n beans when I was a kid.

I might taste something from a can before heating or serving, but that’s it.

It’s not that I’m particular about the way it’s served it’s just that to keep my weight under control I have to be very conscious of portion sizes so if I eat ANYTHING straight from the container I will almost certainly eat way more than I should.

How do you heat the stuff up in the can? Can’t put it in the microwave. Curious minds
On the burner
Oven mitt or shop towel to hold
Cans were my bowls and pots

I could write a book on economical bachelor home life
Maybe call it The Budget Bachelor

Shop towels are great napkins/dish cloths/dish towels
...aaaaand, you can buy them by the bag

Pie tins make great plates.....and you can cook on 'em

Many time saving / money saving things come to mind
I mean, bachelors usually don't care to hang around the place any longer than they have to
Or spend money on decore
