Strange place names

When we lived in Nanaimo BC, we loved 'Jingle Pot Road', every Halloween people would put their pumpkins along the road and they would light them. Great drive at night. There were other unusual street names but Jingle Pot took the cake.
Then in New Mexico the names aren't especially strange but I loved that there were 3 little towns in a row Florida Nut Hatch.

There's a lake up in New England somewhere with an Native American name about a mile long that translates as "You fish your side, we'll fish our side and nobody fishes the middle".
Lake Chaubunagungamaug

Lake Chaubunagungamaug, also known as Webster Lake, is a lake in the town of Webster, Massachusetts. It is located near the Connecticut border and has a surface area of 1,442 acres.

Since 1921, the lake has also been known by a much longer name having 45 letters comprising fourteen syllables: Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.Wikipedia
Location:Webster, Massachusetts
Basin countries:United States
Islands:8

Residents of an Austrian village will ring in the new year under a new name — Fugging — after ridicule, especially on social media, became too much to bear.

The villagers – who are officially known as ****ingers – finally grew weary of Fu**ing

Minutes from a municipal council meeting published Thursday showed that the village of some 100 souls 350 kilometres (215 miles) east [sic] of Vienna will be named Fugging from January 1, 2021.

You see the name: North Piddle, it gets it's name from the River Piddle. Back in the 19th century when the railways were expanding at a pace, they reached the town of Weymouth. Prince Albert loved Weymouth and he took his family there. To spare royal blushes as the train crossed the River Piddle, the railway company covered the river Piddle sign so that it read: River Trent.

For those unfamiliar with Brit slang, piddle is a slang term for urinate. It's not a profanity, it's more on a par with the word fart.
