A few years ago, my wife and I ran across these really nice relaxation, nature videos over on You Tube.

After a hard day, we put one of these things on...and in about 20 minutes, we are in a different world entirely.

The channel is "Nature Relaxation Films"

the ones we like include:

Scotland, Norway and the Aurora Borealis

Here's the Scotland one:

One of the channels on our TV service broadcasts a scene of a fireplace burning nicely....24/7. It is very relaxing to flop down in the recliner and turn that channel on....I'm lucky if I can watch that for more than 5 minutes without taking a nice nap.
Exactly. Same thing with these videos. More often than not, within 5 minutes, I am asleep. And that works for me, since I have a lot of insomnia anyway...

clearly, walking outside in nature is a LOT better than watching a video. I just have a lot of injuries, can only do a tiny bit of walking.
I'm so sorry. I should have been more sensitive to that as I now remember a post from you re: your injuries. I will still check out the videos.
