No idea what a pod cast is
No idea what an MP3 is
iTunes...huh?
No idea how to post a picture or a video
Google Chrome...just regular old Google suits me

There are probably lots more that I can't think of off the top of my head. Is there anybody else out there who's as clueless as I am?

Georgia, I'm right next to you. I wonder if there is a site that can help us, but if not at least we give others that good old superior feeling.

I agree with Vivjen, just not interested. I don't listen to podcasts, mp3s, iTunes, tweet, instagram, facebook, or chat. I think Google Chrome is just an internet browser that some people use, instead of Internet Explorer.

I do know how to post a picture and video, because I was interested to do so one day. It's easy, as you can see I've posted many pics in my albums and posts, and copied videos to the forum.

Here's info on pics and videos that I posted in this thread to answer some questions. https://www.seniorforums.com/showthread.php/1531-Getting-To-Know-Senior-Forums There's a lot more info in the Forum Support section, if you do have an interest. :)

Posting pics & videos is a must if you really want to have fun in discussion forums.

I use Google Chrome because IE just began to suck so bad.

I know what mp3's are, but I don't download music, so it's moot.

No iTunes or pod casts either.

My husband downloaded Google Chrome last week, so we have a google icon on our toolbar now. But when I click it, I just get a big blank google search page. Even though I chose not to have IE as my default anymore, I still seem to be stuck with it. It is bad, shuts down a lot, won't load pages, lots of errors. That's all I'm familiar with, seems it hasn't kept up with the web though. Not computer savvy here, so I dunno.

iTunes is a great resource for music. I use apple stuff to make my playlist and play through my stereo--great advance over the CD!

Just like a number of "Baby Boomers" and older, like flip-phones instead of an iPhone. We prefer the iPhones we now have. Some say they don't need/want a Blu-Ray DVD Player. They don't watch movies that much, if at all. To us, Blu-Ray Player/DVD's are "visually" the GREATEST. I just started using iTunes.........downloading some music that will be put on a CD.

This is a very "hi tech" world we live in now, but many older folks don't care and/or don't want anything to do with the stuff. Unfortunately, the less we know about this "hi tech" world, the more our age shows. Sometimes it's hard to talk with the younger generation when a person doesn't know what the heck they are talking about.

I like iTunes, and have an account with both Apple and Amazon for music; but I also use Pandora and Spotify to listen to songs that I like.
I can listen to podcasts on the iPad, but don't; and I don't have an MP3 player .
My iPad uses Safari, and it works fine for surfing the net. I did try google chrome and didn't like it; it seemed to be really slow compared with Safari.
Some of the newer things I like once I learn how to use them, like my iPhone and iPad; and somethings I still can't figure out, so I do it the old way.
One of the things I want to learn is to draw and paint on the iPad. I have looked at some of the pictures that other people have done; but I haven't gotten any of the apps to make pictures with yet.

I couldn't get on with Google Chrome.

Wonder how many of us have/use a Bluetooth headset w/their phone? We have a small over-the-ear type that I've used when cooking dinner so I could talk to my wife as she drove home from work. Also have a cell phone mount that attaches to the windshield. I put the phone in it, put the phone on "speakerphone" and can talk to her w/o holding onto the phone.
