Subway fast food worker drinks from bottles and puts food on the toilet

He, he! Very funny! Makes me glad that I don't go to restaurants. If you are too lazy to cook at home then you are depending on someone else to cook for you. You don't know what is going on behind "closed doors". Me, I'm not much of a cook but I do cook for myself. You wouldn't find me going into a restaurant with a mask and being served by another masked person. By the way, this is fairly common. I have seen videos like this posted from the UK about 2 years ago. You want cheap, ready made food and the employers pay their staff very little. The staff do get pretty mad sometimes because customers can often be real jerks. I know what I'm talking about as my 1st wife owned a Subway before she got into Panago Pizza business. There is a lot of pressure on the night of the "Big Game" when everyone wants their fast food NOW!

Furthermore, I bet most people don't know that the people who live in the poorer section of town tend to tip the delivery drivers the most. The people in the big, fancy, monster houses are so cheap that often they don't tip at all. Go figure that one out!
Yup, you nailed it, I am too lazy to cook at home. šŸ˜‰

I didn't eat at restaurants often before Covid, and never fast food restaurants, unless McDonald's had the McRib.

I met my friends weekly at a local diner that has good food. It's a fun place - filled with seniors and everyone is a regular who knows the employees pretty well. I never worried about getting sick from eating their food.

It’s unfortunate that YouTube, Facebook, and other social media outlets at least indirectly encourage unwise, unhealthy, or outright criminal behavior by allowing the posting of ā€œchallengesā€ that those seeking their moment of questionable fame respond to and post their own video ā€œreplies.ā€ In my area, school bathrooms and buses have been vandalized by such ā€œchallenges.ā€ Where are the moderators on such sites, or is this another ā€œfree-dumbā€ issue? 😟

FREE-DUMB, most excellent word to describes assholes that are destroying our society. I'll be using that word on a regular basis.

This is one reason I hate drive through at these chain restaurants. I ordered about 1/2 dozen times when these places were not taking walk in orders. They botched the order several times, part of the order was cold or stale or they didn't listen. I used to go to these to place at least once a week prior to the virus.

When one orders in they can watch the food being prepared, conditions, supervision etc.

Watching the food being prepared will provide very limited information.
You have no way of knowing who washed their hands after they went to the rest room or where their hands have been before they touched your food, what temperatures the food was stored at or where the food has been.
Hidden videos have been very revealing for me.

The mother's scream at her adolescent son: "Get your hands out of your britches?
Their habits have not changed when they began working for Burger King.

Yeah, I worked for AMA in Houston for a bit.
A refer trailer was at the dock
The refer had shut off
It was loaded with meat, mostly pork.
All thawed for who knows how long
Supervisor had us unload it, and put it in the refer in the warehouse

Well, I'm not too fond of posters that imply people who work in restaurants are losers and we should all look down on them and gloat about how much better we're doing, but I get the point.

I cook at home five or six nights a week, but my husband really likes to eat out, so we do that, too.

Subway has been one of the few places I refuse to go to during the pandemic because of all the raw food they serve. If you order something that is served steaming hot, like most of the food at our Mexican and Italian restaurants, I feel like you're much safer. Most germs like e-coli and salmonella die at high heat.

I actually can't stand Subway as a fats food place.. . I don't eat much fast food geenrally, but Subway woould be the last place I would eat... ... I don't know about the USA but here every Subway I've ever been in always looks grubby, and the staff are not being fussy about changing gloves when touching different food groups....*ugh*.....but like you I like to eat out and apart from special occasions when we eat at an up-scale restaurant, it's generally a Gastro pub.. some much better than others.. and we have our favourites

And that is why I don't eat out; one doesn't know how the workers prep their food. Yuck! I got food poisoning on my very last Subway visit. Just driving by grosses me out terribly. Never again.

Another wonderful experience was when I went to Wendy's (many years ago). I went to the restroom and all the walls were smeared with what smelled and looked like poop. I ran out of there as fast as I could and reported the mess to the MANAGER.

the problem with Idiots like this are the copy catters.. who may never be discovered doing it..

Thankfully I cannot abide subway but it could be happening anywhere where people are left alone with food prep...
I think this guy's motivation was to create YouTube videos that went viral and brought in cash, and not necessarily to create a public health hazard.
BUT, it's is something I've noticed. And that is the lack of supervision in some fast food restaurants. There are teens, who run them. totally unsupervised.
