Subway Tuna Lawsuit Has Taken a New Turn

Many years ago, a Chinese restaurant opened in town. It was popular, and even if it was not exactly authentic, it was something different.
The story goes that one night, the police stopped a car driven by the Chinese owner of the restaurant, and in the boot (trunk), they found a number of seagulls. This started the rumour that they had been serving seagull instead of chicken. This sounds unlikely, but it damaged the reputation of the restaurant. The owner posted a large notice in the window denying any wrong doing, but this didn't help.

The restaurant closed for a while and after a complete refurbishment reopened with considerable ceremony and trade gradually returned.
