Such Fun in York?

except it's very green here in the south, and we get relatively little rain.... but York which is in the north gets a lot...the question is why are there so may people out in the rain in York...which is quite a small town

Perhaps a communal bath/shower, English style?

Hubby and I visited York a long time ago, 1987?

It was one of the highlights of our round the world adventure.
I would definitely go back there should I ever have that opportunity.

yes, and did you visit the famous Betty's Tea-room.. ?


It's just that even on a hot summers day York is not as busy as those photos with all those people in the rain in December ....in fact it looks more crowded than central London on Christnas eve..so I'm wondering why they were in the rain, in such numbers and looking so miserable..
