I would pick from the top ten tunes that were on the charts during the years that your audience was 16-25 and stay away from music designed to remind them that they are Knock, knock, knockin on Heaven's door!

Anything lively and even danceable. Of course some ballads can be thrown in for variety. Seniors need feel good music. When my husband was in rehab, a guy came in who played guitar and he sang a variety of tunes. He was fun to listen to. When I went with the seniors to Camp Hope for breakfast and games, the "entertainment", a man they had come in was so bad that I couldn't take much of him. I plugged up and listened to my playlist.
