Suggestions for Spiritual Awakening Audios

So, I have decided to make a "Grotto". We had a Grotto for years on one of the meditation paths for years. There was a buddha Statue and different worship things, and wood log seats to sit on or a nice area to sit. We have one in the living room also, But , I decided that I would put one in my room. It will start with my dresser drawer top as the foundation. I will add to it slowly as the universe gives me what to place on it. :)

I had to look up grotto. It said it was an indoor structure resembling a cave.

Yes, that is their history, and it is wonderful. That is why people make "grotto" at heir home, outdoor, or indoor.
I hope you don't' mind but I am relying on my new search engine in the brave browser. I think it is very good at finding information that is relevant, :)

Buddhist Grotto in Home

Yes, you can create a grotto-like space or a Buddhist-inspired area in your home. While traditional Buddhist grottos are often found in caves or natural formations, you can replicate the essence of these sacred spaces in a domestic setting.

Key Elements:
  1. Quiet and Seclusion: Choose a quiet, peaceful area in your home, such as a corner or a room with minimal distractions.
  2. Simple Decor: Use natural materials like wood, stone, or bamboo to create a sense of connection to nature. Avoid flashy or ornate decorations.
  3. Buddha Statue or Symbol: Place a Buddha statue or a symbol representing the Dharma (e.g., a wheel, a lotus flower) in the center of your space.
  4. Candles and Lighting: Use soft, warm lighting, such as candles or dim lamps, to create a peaceful ambiance.
  5. Incense and Fragrance: Incorporate incense or essential oils with calming scents like sandalwood or lavender to enhance the meditative atmosphere.
  6. Minimal Furniture: Keep furniture to a minimum, such as a meditation cushion or a low-backed chair, to encourage mindfulness and contemplation.
Inspiration from Buddhist Traditions:
  • In Tibetan Buddhism, altars are often built with specific offerings, such as statues, scriptures, and ritual objects. You can incorporate similar elements in your home altar.
  • In Chinese Buddhism, grottos often feature statues of Bodhisattvas and Buddhist deities. You can choose a statue that resonates with your personal practice or interests.
Tips for Maintenance:
  • Keep your space clean and simple to maintain a sense of clarity and focus.
  • Regularly clean and dust the Buddha statue and other decorative items.
  • Consider setting aside time each day for meditation or contemplation in your designated space.
By incorporating these elements, you can create a peaceful and contemplative space in your home that honors Buddhist traditions and inspires mindfulness and reflection.

I have a room where I meditate and I view it as my ‘holy’ room. It has a big teddy bear in it as well as a small leather couch . Thats where I meditate . I’ve got candles which I light but I don’t have any Buddha statues.

I haven't added anything to my base except a talking stick I had made for a board meeting we were going to have. I put it up there and Tom Tom our cat jumped up on it to take a nap. I felt like that was too temporary to sely on. :) BUT after he got down a mysterious figure showed up and I do think it is magical. You see.?

I’m not sure what I’m looking at. It looks a bit like a broken branch or something.

Did you ask the universe to provide you with items you’d like to use for your grotto? Maybe some white feathers or certain rocks ?

The other day I changed my entire room around. I got rid of some things I no longer needed or was using. The space feels so much better. I moved the couch to the side wall which lets more light in.

My arm is feeling much better so I might try and do some yoga again. I really miss doing my yoga. It really helps centre and ground me.
Someday I’d like to try tai chi. Have you ever tried doing tai chi?

Yoga is one of the main principles of Eastern thought for me. It means mind and body in unity. It working together without roof noise. ( mind chatter ). Yes, I did Tai-Chi when I first got here. My ex-wife took classes, and we went to a Tai-Chi festival in St. Louis gardens. It was weird. Everyone moving around with intentional movements. It all looked a little robotic. :) My practice began after I took vows. For about 6 months I trained by myself, with an older monk watching me at first. Every morning I would do the postures and movement all while letting my thoughts go. Sometimes I really didn't want to do it. But, it is a mood. Most of the time the mood changes, sometimes not so much.

I looked closer at what fell when Tom Tom jumped up. It is the talking stick. It is on its side now and the eagle feather is showing. The middle white par is the same color as the wall. From afar it looks like a bent over person or mystic symbol The stick isn't that noticeable. I like the stick on it's side and the eagle feather standing straight up. I will keep it as the first addition.

There was another person who used to be a member here who was a monk. His name was StuPhilly. He was a really funny guy. Is it true that monks are vegetarian?

Today I shall plan to do my yoga. I’m looking forward to doing it.

I shall be on a lookout for things to add to my quiet space. I feel spirit all around me, including my passed pets.

Thank you for taking the time to explain all that Dennis.

Here there are no restrictions an what you eat or drink. Some places are very strict about there diet. We are very careful about preparing meals. We learn to cook about up to a good amateur cook level.

High frequency music therapy...I am trying it out for my PN pain.

SomaEnergetics by David Hulse

Moving further down a different rabbit hole, we can explore how Solfeggio frequencies can affect the mind-body physiology. “SomaEnergetics” is a series of sound therapy techniques developed by David Hulse, a brilliant sound therapist, at the turn of the century using the ancient Solfeggio frequencies. The following are the original frequencies (ascribed mind-body “intent” or effects) as described by David Hulse.

UT – 396 Hz. Intent: turning grief into joy, liberating guilt & fear. This frequency liberates the energy and has beneficial effects on feelings of guilt. It cleanses the feeling of guilt, which often represents one of the basic obstacles to realization, enabling achievement of goals in the most direct way. The Ut tone releases you from the feelings of guilt and fear by bringing down defense mechanisms. 396 Hz frequency searches out hidden blockages, subconscious negative beliefs, and ideas that have led to your present situations. (Associated with Root Chakra)

RE – 417 Hz. Intent: undoing situations and facilitating change. The next main tone from the Solfeggio scale produces energy to bring about change. This frequency cleanses traumatic experiences and clears destructive influences of past events. When speaking of cellular processes, tone Re encourages the cell and its functions in an optimal way. 417 Hz frequency puts you in touch with an inexhaustible source of energy that allows you to change your life. (Associated with Sacral Chakra)

MI – 528 Hz. Intent: transformation and miracles (DNA repair). Tone Mi is used to return human DNA to its original, perfect state. This frequency brings transformation and miracles into your life. The process of DNA reparation is followed by beneficial effects – increased amount of life energy, clarity of mind, awareness, awakened or activated creativity, ecstatic states like deep inner peace, dance and celebration. Tone Mi activates your imagination, intention and intuition to operate for your highest and best purpose. (Associated with Solar Plexus Chakra)

FA – 639 Hz. Intent: re-connecting with family and balancing, relationships. Another frequency from the sacred Solfeggio scale. It enables creation of harmonious community and harmonious interpersonal relationships. Tone Fa can be used for dealing with relationships problems – in one’s family, between partners, friends or social problems. When talking about cellular processes, 639 Hz frequency can be used to encourage the cell to communicate with its environment. This ancient Solfeggio frequency enhances communication, understanding, tolerance and love. (Associated with Heart Chakra)

SOL – 741 Hz. Intent: solving problems, expressions/solutions. It cleans the cell from toxins. Frequent use of 741 Hz leads to a healthier, simpler life, and to changes in diet towards foods which are not poisoned by various kinds of toxins. Tone Sol cleans the cell from different kinds of electromagnetic radiations. Another application of this sound frequency is solving problems of any nature. The fifth frequency of the Solfeggio scale will also lead you into the power of self-expression, which results in a pure and stable life. (Associated with Throat Chakra)

LA – 852 Hz. Intent: awakening intuition, returning to spiritual order Tone La is linked to your ability to see through the illusions of your life, such as hidden agendas of people, places and things. This frequency can be used as a means for opening a person up for communication with the all-embracing Spirit. It raises awareness and lets you return to spiritual order. Regarding cellular processes, 852 Hz enables the cell to transform itself into a system of higher level. (Associated with Third Eye Chakra)

Additional research conducted by Dr. Leonard Horowitz claims to have revealed three more Solfeggio frequencies:174 Hz, 285 Hz, 963 Hz. When added to the six original Solfeggio frequencies, they create three perfect triads of notes: 3 x 3 = 9. 9 being the sacred number of completions.

The following are their assigned effects according to Dr. Horowitz:

SI – 963 Hz. This tone awakens any system to its original, perfect state. According to Dr. Horowitz, this frequency re-connects the individual with the Spirit, or the non-vibrational energies of the spiritual world. It enables us to experience Oneness – our true nature. (Associated with Crown Chakra)

174 Hz. The lowest of the tones appears to be a natural anesthetic. It tends to reduce pain physically and emotionally. 174 Hz frequency gives organs a sense of security, safety and love, encouraging them to do their best.

285 Hz. This frequency helps return tissue to its original blueprint or form. 285 Hz influences energy fields, sending them a message to restructure damaged organs. It also leaves the body rejuvenated and energized.

Frequency Therapy in Music
@Paco Dennis , Have you gotten any relief from the PN pain? Some essential oils can be therapeutic in the practice of Aromatherapy. Last Saturday in my weekly Chakra Yoga class my teacher shared some pleasant essential oil, a lemony scent which I liked. Next week I'll show her this picture of the Solfeggio scale, will be interested to hear her take.

No not really
I have been using Capsaicin on my neck and shoulder area. If U hear of a particular oil for nerve pain, let me know. I would much appreciate it.

Today I did my yoga 🧘‍♀️ and it felt good. I was surprised I could do it . I’d injured my right arm badly. I think I injured the rotator cuff and know for a fact that they take a long time to heal so was apprehensive about exercising it.
I really liked how grounded and centred it made me feel. No wonder I enjoy doing it. I’ll try and do it everyday. If a posture is too challenging I’ll just skip it. Luckily I didn’t need to skip anything but that’s not to say I could do all postures with true form.

I have a new project. I am going to use my favorite AI assistant to write lyrics. Then put the lyrics into a music making AI. I will tell the AI what style, and other interesting musical schemes for the song. They will be placed on my new You Tube channel, "Paco Dennis". What better way to use our new tools than by creating art for the fantastic times we are experiencing. This is an example of the responsible use of language for the benefit of others. My channel is free and open to all. :)

Thanks for sharing this Dennis. I could listen to this all day long.

I had an AI write the lyrics. I told it the idea/s of the story. I then went to udio.com put in the lyrics and told it what style and breaks. It made that song! I am trying different styles and different lyrics as I keep making music with no people. :) Kind of creepy too.

Wow Dennis! You created the entire song?
It’s fabulous. LOvE ❤️ the saxophone solos.
You found your niche in life for sure. You should be proud. I love Chicago. They have such a tight band. Your style sounds very Chicago like.

Today I’m reading ‘Battlefield of the mind’ by Joyce Meyers. I listened to her half an hour audio as well. It was only 30 minutes.
The biggest problem I have with Joyce Meyers is her belief in the devil.

Last night I listened to a 2 1/2 hour audio with Wayne Dyer. It was very good. His voice is so soothing. I used to listen to him a lot years ago.

This is the 3rd day I’ve listened to Louise Hays 101 affirmations. I’m going to try and listen to it for at least 30 days. Thats the amount suggested. Years ago I used to listen to her and found her work very helpful.
She started doing this work in 1970.
Rest in peace Louise Hay. Please know that you ARE greatly missed.
