"Teenage Boy with H5N1 Flu in ICU in Canada" but there is a good deal more.

Very interesting. Sunlight is pretty cheap though off-season supplementation using special lighting might be worth considering.

Long almost half-hour video, but 10 minutes in and you might be hooked.

Infrared and Red light are beneficial to the immune system. UV not so much. Early and late in the day are good times. I was able to give up vitamin D supplementation after retirement since I was able to spend a couple hours outside every day. My vit-D level is right where it should be.

What do you think about this video by Dr. Kruse, a brain surgeon? He talks about
the importance of sunlight and goes into detail. Apparently, the blue light from the tv,
computer, and cell phone are destroying our health. I believe it. I started wearing blue light
glasses now.

I think that both regular sunlight and infrared are important. In the summer, I try to be outside every day and get some exposure on my body. Being in the little swimming pool helps me a lot with that because it keeps me cool enough to stay outside long enough to absorb the sunshine into my body.

I have one of those small infrared devices, and when I used it on my hand, which sometimes has trouble with one finger closing, after about 5-6 minutes of the infrared light, my hand will open and close easily again,
The same effect happens when I sit outside in the zero gravity recliner, or even in the swimming pool.

I have a great immune system, and seldom ever get sick, but I do have some arthritis, especially when I eat wrong and have foods with too many carbs/sweets. Natural carbs from veggies do not seem to do that to me, or at least I do not think so.

You sound like me.
Seldom if ever get sick; have some arthritis, especially when I eat carbs/sweets (and processed).
Carbs from veggies no issues.

I feel so blessed.

This is one of the reasons why I do so much exercise outside. Try to avoid the high UV part of the day though. Being in nature has mental health benefits as well.
