Super Bowl teams won't train at facility due to possible EMFs causing injuries

This years Super Bowl teams won't use the San Francisco 49ers training facility due to a theory that a nearby electrical substation has lead to a lot of the 49ers injury problems this year. Both teams have opted for college facilities.

Super Bowl-Bound Patriots and Seahawks to Avoid 49ers Training Ground Amid Ongoing Investigation on the Substation Theory

Potential emf(electronic magnetic field) issues are currently being investigated by the 49ers but the theory has so far been dismissed.

Sometimes excess injuries on a team can come from over or under training or doing things many players are not used to doing. I think some baseball teams have blamed flexibility and stretching programs when they would get a bunch of injuries. I can see emf causing a cancer cluster but sports injuries?

I think it was in 1989 when the 49ers trained at Sierra College while I was taking classes there, and it was probably because of the devastating bay area earthquake that year.

Sierra College was a rather small 2yr college in little ol' Rocklin, Calif., with a recently completed state-of-the-art sports field + training facility. It was mainly a preparatory college for students going on to Calif universities such as UCLA and Stanford. I'd let my nursing license expire and was taking a course in business management.

Hundreds of people came to watch the Niners train, including my brothers, and I would have too, but I had 3 little ones to go home to. (I was a single dad)

In college, I was in classes with a particular girl. I asked her out, but it turns out she was married.... to an ex Forty Niners player no less. She introduced me. He was giant of a guy, as professional players usually are, but very friendly. I liked him a lot. He was second string, but did get some time on the field. He decided to go back to school, and try his hand at something else. Actually, I can't remember why he wasn't playing anymore. Maybe he got injured or was cut.

This is amusing on the face of it. Football players mostly ignore the known risk of high rates of CTE traumatic brain injury, not to mention numerous body injuries, but are stressing about practicing near an electric substation for a couple of weeks? Spare me.
