Tell me, Did you have to register your poetry with ASCAP first, to protect it?
Or, Did you get a copywrite on it, or does the book publisher do that?

I'm so happy for you! I had a poem I wrote for my first grandson published in a poetry book called "A Trusting Heart" over 20 years ago, along with a special award from the International Library Of Poetry.
Poetry is something of a gift, both to the poet and to others reading it. Congrats to you @Ladybj !
