Supermarkets are Filling Shelves

With unwanted stock from their warehouses, not
all of them but enough to cause confusion!

Mike.
its not that it's 'unwanted' stock, it's just all they have. It's ridiculous they're filling Frozen and chill cabinets with bottle and cans... but it's not the first time. I saw them do this last year during the shortages of lockdown. I remember coming home and telling my O/H about it... .

Normally I'm not at all bothered by these stories, and panic buying is a bit stupid, but I am down to my last 29 boxes of tea bags, so I may nip out after and replenish my warehouse. :giggle:

We live in a rural area, with limited choices for grocery shopping. In recent weeks, we've noticed quite a few empty shelves at our nearby Walmart....whereas, the local grocery store and Dollar General are usually quite well stocked. We're doing more shopping in our local small town. Even though their prices are a bit higher than Walmart, the savings in time and gas to drive 30 miles to/from Walmart, just about balances out.

Would somebody tell our Walmart to actually
put whatever it is on pallets in the aisles on the shelves?
