What is my point you ask? In no way, shape or form am I attempting to make any point. Also this thread has no point. I posted this thread to honor a fellow Hispanic. Didn't she write, "Constitution does not protect "a private right of armed self-defense."? In the case of McDonald v. City of Chicago, Sotomayor argued that the Second Amendment does not protect "a private right of armed self-defense," opposing the majority's decision to incorporate this right against state and local governments.

I don't find it offensive or a violation - I just didn't know what you were getting at. Had you written, "I'm posting this thread to honor a fellow Hispanic." I would have understood where you were coming from.

BTW, I'm delighted she's on the Supreme Court and greatly admire her.

It's not offensive at all, but I had also wondered what the point was. I thought maybe she had died at first. Also, I did not know you shared a common heritage. But I understand now, and I'll put on my hip Hollywood Cinematic facade and ask, "So... Are we cool?" :cool:
 
Wow...I watched the second video, what an interesting and personable woman Justice Sotomayor is...thank you for posting this, I'll watch the others when I have more time.

I had a very taxing month where nothing you do or even attempt to do goes awry so please forgive my disrespectful outburst. I now realize you meant no harm. Always a friend.

I agree with Starsong. A short intro before lots of videos would be helpful. Even something between then would be good, and much appreciated.
