Ive been reading about these Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams,
there have been a lot of news lately about the needs for this teams in situation where the local police could have handled some of these incidents better.
 
Lately, a woman in Palo Alto, CA (think Stanford University), came home to THINK an intruder was in the house. She called the cops. A swat team was immediately dispatched. They evacuated the neighborhood and held a "stand-off" for hours. No intruder was found!

I've come home to find my front door open and the house ransacked, called the cops and it took hours for anyone to show up and do nothing.

It was todays news,someone call the swat team,they surrounded the house with dozens more local cops. They found NOTHING it seems It was a hoak call.

Its something new thats going on..its called "Swatting"

I sometimes think rightly or wrongly.
A well trained British copper can do the same job without all the fuss.
Remember the Embassy siege and how the Police reacted with that.
Even the Yanks were impressed
 
The point, isn't the end result of the either groups activity. The point is that enormous amounts of money are being re-routed by the Department of Justice to segments of the government for building up commando type groups that have no authority to circumvent the normal legal process of law. These "groups" act under Federal authority circumventing both local law enforcement, and local laws. they are acting as a political tool to progress the current administration's agendas (socialism).
