Where should I shop for an affordable swimsuit that actually fits? Every suit I try is either too long, too loose, too tight, too revealing; the straps fall down, the seat is saggy, the top is not fitting in all the right places. What brands have you found that are comfortable?

I buy mine at the swim shop. Speedo, Dolphin and Tyr. They are more utilitarian but still attractive. The pretty ones you can find at any department store or TJ Maxx or Marshalls. Maybe you need to buy one size smaller to allow for stretch, as suits do stretch when wet.

Erm, this is for us fellas....

Don't ever let your Granny knit you a woollen cozzie, I did, and the first time I went swimming I came out of the water minus the cozzie.

My Gran laughed about that for ages. 😊

If you're okay with buying online, I've had good luck with Venus.

Lands' End, L.L. Bean, Speedo, and Amazon.
Depends on your activity and taste.
You might like to check out YouTube "Angela Masson Fashion over 50". She recently made a video with swimsuits finds on Amazon. It was really nicely done.

Try one of the custom makers. There are several in the USA and Australia. Are you looking for a one piece? If so, one with a zip front will allow you to get the presentation you desire. I still wear only two piece. I use a zippered front sleeveless crop top that can go from a turtleneck to lower than I care to go. I got it off ESTY and I see now that lady isn't making them anymore.

Popina in Portland, Or. makes a nice boy short with pull sides to get several presentations. I wear their Hipster that has full back coverage and comfortable full front coverage with a lower rise look. Also nice tops if you don't mind tie ones.

Good grief, I don't like even wearing shorts that come down to the knees, never mind a bathing suit. I'm almost 70. I am not overweight but have flabby arms, leg veins, and tummy pooch after having radical hysterectomy the year before last. Kudos to others who can wear bathing suits and look good in them!

Try Shein online.
My 74 yr old sister just bought 3 one piece swim suits and they're all very cute. $10 ea.
She showed them to me yesterday and they all appear to be good quality.

That's where I plan on buying one or two.
