Taco Tuesday...again..

Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Que, open Thursdays and weekends at 906 Jean St., Grapevine, made the list for Thursday “taco night” specials such as the Tlaquepaque, barbacoa with dark arbol.

My high school had the same lunch menu every week for the four years I was there. I can't remember what we had on Monday or Wednesday, but Tuesday was sloppy Joes, Thursday was hamburgers, and Friday was fish. It was good because we always knew when we needed to bring our own brown bag lunch. Friday was my favorite, just a big hearty fish stick smothered in tartar sauce, potatoes and some kind of veggie. Lunch was 40 cents if I remember correctly, which was a little on the pricey side for my family, so school lunch required planning, because I seldom had that much change in my pocket or a bill in my wallet.
