Today, saw my wild azalea out in full bloom. I transplanted it from out in the country 31 years ago. The main stem long ago died. These are sprouts from the main stem. Thought I might have lost it due to the drought this fall. Soooo glad to see it's OK.
It was pretty windy today, so pic is a little fuzzy. Boy do they smell good---somewhere in between honeysuckle and gardenia.
