Take the food quiz

I missed one "fruit soaked in liquid to enhance flavor", I said "infusion", they said "maceration". As far as I'm concerned both answers are correct. tongue

AL definition : "Infusion involves soaking plant materials in a solvent like water or alcohol to extract flavors or compounds, typically at a warm temperature for a specific time. Maceration, on the other hand, is a similar process but usually involves breaking down the plant material before soaking it, allowing for a more efficient extraction of flavors over a longer period." So there. 😊

I did answer the "bonus" question correctly.

No one will be asking me to cook. I got 11 wrong, and didn't have a clue what some things even were, like tzatziki, roux, mirepoix. But I looked them up and I wouldn't want tzatziki anyway. ;)
Good for you for looking them up. Now you know more than most.
