Taking that perfect senior selfie ;) !

imageedit_25_3918441882 - Copy.jpg Looking to take that perfect selfie for your page or profile somewhere, or just to share? Here's how I do mine! My friends always laugh when they can't get in touch with me, "she's probably busy taking selfies" they say lol, and they're right! Though many people do, I don't use any apps that would make me look younger, or different, or more beautiful, etc. I use various light settings, shadows & angles to try to get my best look.
In this one, I am up close to the mirror and a lamp on the dresser, tilting my head just right to shine out my age spots under and around the eyes, forehead, etc. and then snap, my dream selfie! Now my throat area, can't do anything about that, no sense in hiding it because when anyone sees me in person, they will see it just as it is here.
As for my face and eyes, I cannot use beauty products due to several incurable issues with my right eye, and I have to deal with this fact, so I only apply lipstick. As for my hair, I don't color it because jet black hair would not look appealing with my aging face :(. Look at the 2 pics I have here...I erased the ceiling fan and and hair that was being blown around by it lol, and some lint that was on my hair bow.
I use LunaPic online for erasing things in the background or in the picture that are distracting, spots in the picture or on the mirror or for frames and different effects or backgrounds...and presto! You have the secret of my selfie success! Now if you all will excuse me, I have to get back to my favorite hobby, taking more selfies lol! :) Rindee

Thank you so much PeppermintPatty, so nice of you to say! Some like my pics and some see me as the Bride of Frankenstein lol, and I do appreciate your kind words!
I personally love the silver hair. I admire people who grow out their greys. Your silvers really suite you and there’s such a contrast between your natural silvers and your bright red lipstick.

Thank you for your kind words, that means so much to me! The last time I colored my hair was about 10 years ago, and even then, I didn't like the look. I was aging, and the black shiny hair didn't look right on me, and it certainly wouldn't look right, at my age. Thank you for the compliment on my lipstick, my favorite is Revlon 477/Black Cherry.

You’re most welcome. I stopped colouring my hair in 2014 so 10 years ago also. I was colouring my hair with cherry cola henna and had to do my roots every 10 days. My hair was tailbone length. It made it somewhat tedious. Growing out my bright cherry cola hair took about 5 to 6 years. My silver isn’t as clean as yours. It has light natural cherry cola mixed in with it. Like yourself, I outgrew my hair. The bright cherry cola colour no longer suited my face and like yourself, I like my silver hair. I earned my silver grey hair. It’s not bottled silver.

Thank you for sharing your memories of your hair and colors though the years, I know it looked wonderful, bright cherry cola hair I think is beautiful! You are right we earn our sliver strands, and with pride and honor!

RindeeSmiles - frame at 0m9s.jpg.... This was a new method for my selfies, a still shot from my video clips! A guy on a chat site who lived in my area, wanted to see another pic of me, so I sent him this one...his response :( ? "Your kinda cute, wild hair, nice smile, but a bit too much nose for me." By the way, the picture he sent to me was obviously from many years ago, oh but my nose is too big for his liking lol....OMG!
