Talk About Bad Luck!

The Houston area recently experienced an explosion at a local grinding/machine shop that damaged/destroyed many homes and businesses near by. One of the business was a service company exclusively for Corvettes old and new. Their loss was approximately one million dollars. The kicker here the owners of that business lost everything in hurricane Harvey. They are in their mid to late 60's and after a double whammy like that I admire them for their calm demeanor when talking about their near back-to-back disasters.

While I haven't lived through explosions, and a major hurricane, I have had really bad days when everything goes wrong. It's things like you wake, and switch on the lights, and the switch falls apart. The coffee maker leaked water all over the place. You have a flat tire, but that doesn't matter, because the battery is dead. You get ready for your Friday doctor's appt., when you find out it's Saturday. And that's the first hour of the day. My last Bad Luck Day ended with my microwave going pffft.
