I was born and raised in Scotland and of course shortbread was a staple....View attachment 152663
The lady on the left, Mrs Kidd, was my neighbor when I lived in Maine and taught me how to make tea properly. Her brother (on right) had a bakery where he still lived in Scotland and would send the most wonderful shortbread, which she kindly shared. Oh, those lovely times with this dear lady, sipping tea and enjoying shortbread!
Have you ever made masala chai...beautiful

No tea cups for me. Here's my One Pint - Eight Cylinder Brain Cell Caffeinator ready for service. My mom liked Constant Comment also. I have it around Christmas - to me it has that Christmassy taste.
Some of my teacup set collection:

It probably had both in it Pinks.... I've had it in an Indian home, I was so surprised they served it with milk already included...The best tea I've ever had, was made by our Indian neighbours. It was made with hot or steamed milk rather than water. I wish I'd asked them how it was made, as it was delicious. I'm certain it had ginger and/or cardamom in it.
They were making it on the stove, Hols .. pretty sure, the way the video shows. Thanks for this!It probably had both in it Pinks.... I've had it in an Indian home, I was so surprised they served it with milk already included...

That is so weird,,,,I was just going to comment about 'constant comment' lolI usually stick with generic black tea in bags from the local supermarket.
The only flavored tea that I enjoy, hot or cold, is Bigelow's Constant Comment.
