Teacher murdered because she gave out bad grades

They felt angry that their GPA had dropped since they performed poorly in her class. How did they think killing their teacher would raise their grade point average? You are correct, these boys are more malevolent rather than just mentally ill. They won't have to be concerned about their GPA because they're being tried as adults. It doesn't apply where they're going.
 

In first year Algebra, our female teacher had small, potted plants along the window sill. She gave the one classmate the job of watering the plants every Friday before leaving class. It was the last class of the day and of the week. The boy in charge of the watering happen to be out sick this one Friday, so another boy stepped up and volunteered to take care of the plants and the teacher thanked him. He loaded up the small watering can with nothing but very hot water and poured it into the flower pots. When we came back into school on Monday, the flowers were all but dead, a few were, the others had wilted. She knew what had happened, but couldn't prove it until the bigmouth idiot bragged about it to a bunch of other students and someone turned him in.
 
It used to be that if you got bad grades or a bad behavior report at school, you got as bad or worse at home from parents who supported the teacher. No longer…some parents will go to the school, and demand the teacher’s head! Decades of overwork, comparably low salaries, and micromanagement by people who don’t actually do the job have left teachers disillusioned and bitter, and fewer are entering the profession while others are leaving it.

Staffing teaching positions is accordingly becoming an increasing problem in many districts, while all teachers really want is a living wage and a little support and appreciation…

isn't that the truth..?.. and also in my school years we got belted with a leather Tawse, hit on the head.. with flying wooden Blackboard dusters , wrapped over the knuckles with wooden Rulers..

Now in now way am I condoning what teachers did to us..far from it, it was all very wrong... however you can see just how far our young have come now in the opposite direction.. where nowadays a bad comment will set some of them off to violence or even murder..

What have we done as parents...?.. how have we made our children/grandchildren into weak snowflakes unable to take the slings and arrows of real life without them needing therapy or resorting to violence ?
 
They are teens, with teenage brains-literally they haven't fully developed. So, it's "kid" thinking that killing the source of their problem would eliminate it. How? If they hadn't been "childishly" boasting about the act, they may not have been apprehended. That said, they are fully aware of what murder is, and fully aware of the possible consequences. They may have been "kids' in the 'why', but they were 'adults' in the knowing commission of murder. Life, like any other murderer.

..which is why they're being tried as adults and not children...
 
That is totally shocking. From her picture, she looks like a small sized woman. And those two big boys beat her to death!

May she rest in peace.
 
I'm curious what kind of upbringing those kids had. What kind of parents they have. That will come out in time, I guess.
 
I doubt bad grades was the motive.
I don't think kids who would commit murder would be concerned with bad grades.
