Some blunders in the reporting of the news.

"The rapid free-flow of information is a curse-pocked blessing. Media-induced muck-ups and outrages are virtually preordained as due diligence and restraint fall to the wayside in pursuit of being the first to break a story. But in a world where headlines can travel as far and fast as technology allows, even a simple underestimation of the public’s sensitivity to an issue can spark a caustic controversy."

Heh, heh ... The New York Post ... that rag isn't even good enough to line the parakeet's cage ...

The news media is in a constant competition for advertising revenues. As such, they occasionally jump to conclusions that later prove to be wrong. The media has a responsibility to report the facts...accurately...but their chase after the Almighty Dollar sometimes gets in the way.

And then there are the news stories that don't get reported at all. Like the fact that so far, the Minsk 2 peace accord is still holding and it's looking slightly more promising because heavy weapons have been withdrawn I believe by both sides although the Ukraine military was slow to start. And while the Washington Post has one piece written Feb 14th, they have no recent commentary.

and then....I read in ZeroHedge that some General stated that by the end of the week there would be a battalion of American soldiers in Ukraine even though the truce seems to be holding.....and the Washington Post has nothing to say on that. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-...ngs-us-will-deploy-battalion-ukraine-end-week

Also, the Washington Post didn't have any article on Netanyahu's Congressional speech being protested against in Israel or that an ex-Mossad director says a lot of his speech was baloney (he used a stronger word). Would that be because they don't want to upset the AIPAC crowd?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/newssearch/?query=2015+protests+against+netanyahu's+congress+speech (the search page with no result)
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-...l-aviv-ex-mossad-chief-calls-his-congress-spe (names, times and places mentioned so it did happen)

So news reporting gone wrong ..... or simply not done?
