Terrible storm.

We just had an AWFUL storm go thru here. Trees down, flooding in some parts, road accidents etc.

Our power went out @ 5:00 AM and just got turned back on a few minutes ago. We didn't get
any damage, PTL. It's amazing how dependent we are on utilities. No heat, no lights, NO INTERNET !! No landline phone, couldn't open a can nor the garage door, no toaster, no microwave, couldn't read the newspaper or do the +-word puzzle.

WHEW ! Don't want to go thru THAT again.

Sounds awful and scary - good that all is well now. We can't do much without power - read or sleep maybe.
Weather is reeking havoc everywhere lately.

Saw some horrible pictures on the news tonight. Landslides running right over folks houses and some terrible flooding. CA is getting nailed and glad you are ok, cookie.

We had it yesterday here in NorCal. Luckily,the winds weren`t anywhere near what they predicted but oh boy,did we ever get rain! The levee broke on a nearby creek and flooded our friends properties-they live next door to each other. Luckily their houses are both up high enough that they were OK there.
