Terrible Weather Heading Your Way.

My wife's niece and her hubby evacuated to our place from Bonita Springs. They had not been here before, so we took a ride to show them around. The causeways to the beaches were closed yesterday afternoon. They were impressed with what they did see and now understand why we moved here 3 times.

They are apprehensive about what they will find when they return home.

Yesterday was her 65th birthday.

I wonder, do they have any idea how far up the storm will travel before it finally peters out? Do they expect it to reach the states immediately north of Florida?

Yes, they have shown it as far as Tennessee and North Carolina as a tropical storm. They are saying that some power outages might reach as far north as Atlanta.

This is the time of year I'm glad I live in the middle of the desert.
