The indictment has hurt him some. Of course, if he goes to trial that will, I think, do him in. Should he be convicted in the trial? Texans would have to find themselves another guvner. I think he broke the law and is as guilty as Stevenson was back in, when was it, 1905? Sometimes when a politician is riding high as Perry was, his little sins are forgiven. I am curious how far this will go, if he will actually go to trial.

...if nothing else, maybe this will exposed our state leader (cough, cough) to the nation and keep him out of the presidential race, if he has enough gumption to recognize his very lacking qualifications.
