Th Great Ketchup Question

We have some ketchup, kept in the fridge. I'd only use it in making the meatloaf topping.

Short answer for non-link-clickers.... yes, ketchup does indeed spoil kept out after opening.

In the cupboard until I open it, then it goes in the refrigerator.

Ditto. After it's opened it goes in the fridge.

I have never had ketchup in my refrigerator or in the pantry. Come to think of it, I've never even had it in my house. Never liked it. Mustard and mayonnaise are in my refrigerator and/or cupboard.

In the refrigerator, top side up when it's a new bottle, then top side down when it's less than half a bottle.

Yep, good idea if you don't like vinegar first. Also makes it easier to shake and keep mixed. In the fridge for me.

In the fridge. I've been using the no-sugar-added kind lately and it's pretty good, actually.

As soon as it's open then it's kept in the fridge.... same with Mayo.....

I hate seeing Bottles of ketchup and Mayo sitting out on a hot table outside a restarant or bar with the sun shining right on them... that will make you ill if you eat it..

Good restaurants here bring fresh condiments to the table out of doors. Otherwise, no tipping from me.
We Don't eat out much now, mostly with Kids and playing pool. They complain a lot! haha ... ...

Ketchup and all condiments go in the fridge after opening. I also buy a couple of small sizes of each when I run out.
Since it's just me, and occasional kid or grandkids, the large size can hang out opened for a long time.

As a teen getting a burger and fries at the local burger joint was a treat. I learned really fast not to put the ketchup on the fries, to put it on the side and dip the fries in it. Seems they filled the bottles every night and they sat out all day every day and usually never completely emptied. That stuff in the bottom was gross!

I keep mine in the fridge after opening.

Fast food I ask for condiments and they put 4 in or none, maybe paper towels or not.
I like Chicken places better than burger joints now.

The burger meat is not the same now. Tough and chewy, careful swallowing.
Some Chicken seems tough too! Food at a counter may chux now!
We just added a Ninja Pellet smoker to the side porch to help with delicious cooking.
