There I was watching this old Hammer movie on my television. Vampire Lovers, with Peter Cushing, Ingrid Pitt, and George Cole (he played the young Scrooge in the 1951 British film). It seemed like every scene took place at night, especially outside. Halfway through the film, I found myself craving some sunshine.
Well the typical ending of a vampire movie started, with Peter Cushing and company killing off the bloodsuckers with the old stake in the heart routine. This time they also chopped off the head. He came to Ingrid Pitt's coffin and hesitated. Me craving for some sunshine, started scolding Peter Cushing. "Come on Peter! You've done this before! What is this, your 114th Hammer horror movie? I don't care if you find Ingrid Pitt attractive. Just ram the bloody stake through her fricking heart!"
Well Peter finally dispatched Ingrid Pitt. I turned off the television, and ran out into the sunshine, soaking up the sun, and thanking God that I wasn't a vampire!
