My surgeon extremely happy with my results. Good news finally after 7 or so months. Complete return of blood flow to left leg. Meaning No further amputations.

I’m in recovery. The surgeon removed painful ulcerations. I can walk without wincing.

It's a GREAT NEWS to get in recovery stage.

I fractured, 2 places on the heel of my right foot last fall. I could not walk for two months and needed a wheelchair to navigate even inside the house. One of my sons was my caregiver for that period by taking extended leave from his work.
Neighbors asked me what happened, I explained it, but seems not quite understand what fractured heel is, not able to walk.

I did not get a surgery because an ER-Ortho.Doctor was hesitant to give it a surgery, due to age or something else. I'm in good health and regret not to get a surgery for.
I can walk but not like prior to this happened. Never realized how important our feet/walk until we got hurt.
