That Flea Comb

Someone gave me this comb to try on the cats here,so I started at the back of the neck and....HOLY COW!!!!!
Im guessing there was at lease 20 live fleas,I run outside since I had no idea what to do with them.
I call the friend he say "I forgot to tell you also need a bowl of hot soapy water to kill the fleas then you need toothpick or something to get the dead fleas off the comb".
3 times on that cat ,STILL more fleas.
Im done with flea power. I also learned that vacuuming the carpets does not remove fleas.

The cats happy ,Im pizzed.

Thanks Sea, we will check out the link. Texas is horrible when it come to fleas, and Izzy has a bad allergy to fleas.

When we had our Shih Tzu Sassy, we worked hard to keep her flea free. One time we offered to dog sit our friends poodle and sure enough, he was crawling with fleas. After that, we had a heck of a time getting them off the dog and carpet. The next time they asked us to dog sit, we were busy that weekend.

We also used a flea comb on our other dogs. They seemed to enjoy the brushing.

When we had cats and dogs they were frequently sprayed with anti-flea stuff and very restricted in the areas of the home they were permitted to inhabit.
