It seems the synopsis possibly is the ability to understand we mainly believe in a mediocre way. Shallow...surface. So we are shocked at the unexpected. Also it is attempting to bring philosophies that have similar attributes that teach us HOW to think. It is very useful to know these principles, but there are too many of us who don't need or desire the depths this video goes into.

Long vi so I scrolled through some comments first. Dunning-Kruger effect and Black Swans theory are mentioned. Would be quicker to search Wikipedia for logical fallacies etc. Fewer ads too
