First it was the big shoulders on the fashion runways this fall and now peach is Pantone’s color of the year. Fluff up your hair, ladies, and get that long hair growing in the back of your head, gents, the 80s are back!

I love peach... it's a lovely colour, never had it in my home tho'.. might think about that..

The matching colour here has been grey..walls, floors, and furniture..even bedding...and all with pink accessories... *ugh*
I used to love peach. One place I lived in I had a new bathroom suite put in in peach, really soft gentle peach. But those were back in the days of coloured suites.

Another time I lived in a very old house and because I believe the style of the house demands a certain decor... in that old house I chose peach with contrasting colours on the walls and ceilings, the contrasting colours escapes my memory banks just now, but I really went to town on that house. Loved it.

I loved the eighties. My son was born, we lived in nice places, everything in my life was good, except I lost my dad in '81. If he were around, it would have been totally perfect.
Yes. The eighties were very good. It's just the hair and fashion. 🙄 Guess it wasn't that bad.

I used to love shoulder pads and leg warmers.... somehow they always used to compliment my body shape.
Not the really HUGE shoulder pads though.
Talking leg warmers took me right back to Jane Fonda in her leotard and leg warmers, which led us all to exercise in our own leotards and leg warmers, if we'd a mind to exercise :D

somehow I feel the fashion of the 80's were older than the fashions of the 70's... maybe because the 80's was just horrible...:ROFLMAO:

No, Pantone is:

In 1963, Pantone revolutionized the printing industry with the colorful PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM®, an innovative tool allowing for the faithful selection, articulation and reproduction of consistent, accurate color anywhere in the world.

If you're dealing with Print (that is, your images are going to be printed), it's best to choose colors on the Pantone system so that your printer can match the color.

Most of my summer pants are bell bottoms. I still have two pairs of leg warmers from our cross-country skiing days. I've never changed my hairstyle of long to lumbar area until 2020. I'm now sporting shoulder lengths.

I've never appreciated buzzed haircuts on men. I called it the prisoner look, yuck! My husband had shoulder length hair until his death and looked very good indeed as his hair was naturally curly...
