A night time photo taken from the OPP station parking lot at North Caribou Lake, Ontario. That station is the most northerly Police station in Ontario, that you can drive to, year round. To get to OPP stations father north, you go in by boat or float plane. Assignments to the Northwest District are 3 years in duration. The Province of Ontario is almost exactly the same square mile area as the State of Texas, with a population of 15 million people.

On a quiet winter night, if you listen for a while, you can hear the buzzing in the air from the lights. Japanese tourists come to Canada to see the lights during the winter in the Yukon, and the North West Territory. They consider that a baby conceived under the lights will have a lucky life.
