The best decade of your life

My 60's. I had 2 heart attacks and died both times in one night. This made me reflect and gave me the courage to do things I had wanted to do but no one wanted to share the experience. So I went to England and Ireland, alone and met online war game friends I had been friends with for 10 years on the game. It was the best thing I ever did for myself for a change. Then a circle road trip from Chicago to Calif and back with one of those English friends who wanted to see the states. I love the British humor and was called "Yank" more than my name.
 
The 1970's by far. I travelled around the country. Went through 39 states. Lived in New York City. Took some acting classes. Had small parts in 5 plays. Went to London three times. Got into photography and took a lot of pictures in London, Bronx Zoo, New York City etc. Went to a lot of Broadway shows (musicals, comedies, & dramas). Went to a lot of Rock and Roll revival and Doo Wop concerts, at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall, and saw Pink Floyd at Carnegie Hall.

I truly think I would have been a gypsy if I had the chance. I never made it to the north eastern states. No idea why I seemed to always choose a home-body partner, just meant to be I guess. Your adventures sound fabulous
 
Will be my 70s. By then the damage I caused my body and mind In my younger years will be restored back to a healthy old age. I may be fooling myself however I know my health is much better than in my late forties and fifties.
I'm retired and happy at 68 and looking forward to the decade of my 70s.
 
Thinking about this question I'm surprised to say my twenties. From age 20 to 30 I was married to a man who was cold and controlling and treated me like a servant ... but...at the end of that first year my son was born and I just loved every minute with him. If there's anything more funny and loveable than a little child I don't know what it is. Those were good years.
