The Brain Past 60

I've always been a slow thinker...one of the reasons I didn't do well at school was because I take a while to digest things. I don't seem to have got any worse.

I think we go through mental phases as we go through life. Teen age, and early 20s males seem more vicious than older adults. The Nazi death squads in WW!! were usually Hitler Youth grads and very young. The horrible African genocides were committed by extremely young males. Teen boy movies are all "action" flicks. Us, geezers are generally more cautious. And let's face it, a 60, 70, 80 year old machine does work as well as a brand new one. Of course, this is my own rantings. I'm a guy, so I kind of understand males. Women must go through similar phases??????

I don't know. I'm pretty darn old and since I no longer work at a mindless, mundane, non-thinking, robotic job,
I now have time to read literature, metaphysics, physics, history, philosophy. Give to create, invent, sculpt, paint, write.
My mind is a hundred times more active then when I was younger, but it's as if I just "woke up", or just landed on the Earth.
I don't think age has much to do with it. I think "health" is a great factor though!

OK, Not the best world or the greatest people but we are stuck here temporarily so why not reinvent ourselves and learn as
much as we can, grow our character and strength of thought as best we can?

Your life is not "who you used to be". Your life is NOW!
