Yes, and if people would pay more attention as to how some of our judges and justices adjudicate cases, maybe not all of them would keep getting rehired.Here, Judges rarely answer to anyone outside of the ballot box due to Judicial Immunity.
In Pennsylvania, we have Judges that sit on the bench and hear cases that are presented by the state. We also have District Justices that sit on the bench in different districts, not necessarily counties, that hear cases like that are presented in a municipal court. They hear a lot of cases involving citations involved speeding, etc, plus some civil cases. District Justices are referred to the same as a Judge, but they do not need a law degree.
They also have the authority to refer cases to the Commonwealth Court.
