I'm curious, what is the color of your car, have you always picked same color?
The reason I'm asking as a non driver I'm sometimes amazed by the color people choose.
The other day I saw a'split-pea' colored KIA,thought to myself'Yuck that's ugly"
I've noticed the cars here in Buffalo are mostly light or dark gray, blue, black,or white Sue

First, has anyone notice that car dealers have been selling pure white cars/SUV's and the younger generation ladies love them.

Anyway, our old Toyota 4-Runner was black. Our current 2005 Dodge Durango SLT is medium-to-dark blue. Our 1997 Dodge RAM 1500 is green/silver. I've been a fan of medium-to-dark blue for many, many years, although a Fire Engine Red is very hot looking for a sports car, as in a Corvette.

The pea-green and pink, to me, are just plain...……...

My daughter has a white Lexus SUV but she’s mostly had white cars, she’ll be 48 in May.

I've never owned a new car, or even a late model used one, so color has always been a non-choice. If it was mechanically sound, I bought it regardless the color.

When Ron bought me the Caddy, he had several color choices apparently, and he chose the iridescent midnight blue because I'd complained that my white car constantly showed the dirt and also because that's his favorite color!

If I could choose a car color, I'd go for either the gorgeous iridescent sage color I've been seeing on the road recently, or a british racing green.

Red. Not my favorite color, I would have preferred blue, but the dealer said there would be at least a 6-weeks wait to get it in the shade of blue I wanted. I figured the color wasn't that important. And I also figured (wrongly) that red would make it easier to spot my car in a parking lot. Turns out that red was apparently the big color that year. It's no easier to spot than grey or beige.

Mrs. L's car is metallic "Ivory silver" (or is it Silver Ivory). It's a curious colour - not silver, not Ivory, not... anything. It depends on the light and who's looking at it. My campervan is white, but of course there seems to be an infinite
number of whites.vw.jpg

We have a silver Impala, and a white Dodge pickup. I much prefer lighter colored vehicles, since we live on a gravel road, and any dark colored vehicles show the dust/dirt substantially more.

We have a maroon Hyundai Elantra. We did have a tan SUV and a white Sonata. Traded them both in for the Elantra. Thats all we need now. I prefer the white cars because it doesn't show the dirt like other colors.

This is a similar color to mine, I bought my Jeep Cherokee new in '96, I love the teal color. Our truck is dark blue and our Nitro is a sand color with black trim. We mostly leaned toward blues and greys, just settled for the sand color on the Nitro.

Mine is bright red like a fire truck!

When I was a kid it was drummed into me that you needed to have a bright colored car when you live in snow country so people could see you day or night.

I chose white when I bought my car because I had heard it was the most visible color against the gray of the highway. I guess I want people to sit up and take notice when I go by in my 20 year old Neon!

Mine is a very dark grey ( not quite Black)... I don't like it ( it needs a wash in this pic but I couldn't find the photos where it was clean) :D
