The COVID vaccine seems to be the NEW Fad. Does anyone know if we have to get it yearly??

People on FB are giving high fives for getting the vaccine. For those that don't, I'm sure they feel like they are left out of the "Cool" people club. Does anyone know if people have to get the vaccine yearly??
 

Only time will tell. This virus is so new that no one really knows what it will be like in another year, or two. With the reported variants starting to appear, it is a possibility that more shots may be needed in coming months or years. It may even turn out to be similar to the flu....where annual shots are recommended. Just like the rest of us, the doctors and scientists are learning as they go.

I totally agree...everyone is learning as they go.
 

I had my regular oncology checkup two weeks ago(I graduated and only have to see the oncology nurse now)and she is very pro the vaccine but said my Oncologist says it`s a bunch of hooey that we will need a yearly vax-that that would only be to line the pockets of Big Pharma. We shall see,I guess.
