I am curious just how bad can this flu season be considering the precautions we all are taking with Covid-19. If we are taking these precautions, wearing a mask, social distancing, using hand sanitizer, disinfecting everything, not touching our faces and washing our hands how would we catch the flu?

Make a point of washing them before eating or touching your eyes, nose, or mouth. If you can, stay away from sick people. That will help stop the flu from spreading.
